Bah-Hambug! I always suspected Christmas was a waste. Now I’ve found an economist who confirms my view.

Meet Joel Waldfogel, the Frederick R. Kappel Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota and author of “Scroogenomics: Why You Shouldn’t Buy Presents for the Holidays,” published in 2009.

Agree completely, this pressure on main st to buy
gifts which puts them further in debt, which lets be honest how many presents are really usefull,
and spare a thought for all the retail workers on basic pay, working long hours with no bonus!
mike scrooge? no, so lets help charities,servicemen/women and the elderly,
as for kids we ruin them, my frugal childhood set me on the path to hard work and success
