Grieving for lost jobs

Steve Colella once sought the priesthood, earning an advanced degree in divinity.

Instead, he became a vocational counselor at the University of Massachusetts and the founder of a jobs club at the public library in West Warwick, R.I. But it’s all the same.

He says being a jobs counselor is just like being a grief counselor, particularly these days when jobs aren’t easily replaced.
