McRib season came and went at McDonald’s last year and somehow I did not stop to get one of those tasty, gelatinous molded-pork sandwiches.
I did shoot this photo, thinking that maybe the McRib had some significance and would soon earn it’s place in the news.
So here it is: McRib helped boost McDonald’s fourth quarter earnings by 2%.

I don’t know what booming McRib sales have to say about our economy. Some say McDonald’s should sell it year round. But it won’t.
Apparently, it’s the limited-time offer that gives the McRib its appeal.
If it was available all year, it wouldn’t be such a treat.
The McRib might even become McNormal.
So how many McRibs did you eat last year? Describe:

Hi Al,
Long time no see ! Still traveling? I looked at your picture and you are presently behing the “8 ball!” And missed your McRib. Well now, besides reading the book about MONEY TO BURN, I have ate a McRib. It is good for a cheap sandwhich! I love BBQ sauce. And that is what makes the McRib. The McRib is only a seasonal sandwich which they bring out for a few months. But if you really like ribs,…I make the BEST SAUCE In the world!!! There is a place in Hillsboro, Illinois that has a festival once a year called Old Settlers. Carnival rides, entertainment, a parade, and different things. But the best thing to look for is the JAYCEES food stand. They make a BBQ pork sandwich to die for! No BBQ sauce on it at all. It is cooked over an out door grill and I would be willing to drive 250 miles in one direction for one of those sandwiches! Once a year… at OLD SETTLERS which is held in August.
Chicago Politics…bah humbug! LOL Would you believe that my cousin ran to be a tax collector and My brother decided to run as an alderman. They had me out there collecting signatures so they could get on the ballot. But there is a lot of shannigans going on to try to keep 7 canidates off the ballot since Tim Cullerton doesn’t want competition. Matter of fact, one lady had several signs on her front lawn from another canidate. She went out to her car and found that someone threw a frozen ham through her car window. We all know that it was The Cullertons. Would you believe that she actually cooked the ham! GOOD GRIEF! Thinking of you…Kay Osborne
