Too many Ponzi victims don’t pursue the people who ripped them off out of embarrassment, or fear that their smart business reputations will be sullied. This doesn’t serve justice. It makes rich, successful people easier targets. And the whole story is never told.
Thankfully, there are a few people like Al Feld, a Denver real estate developer who lost $10 million to convicted Ponzi artist Mark Jackson. Feld’s testimony contributed to the 15-year prison sentence Jackson received earlier this week.
