The Other Side Of The Bridge

bridgeThe Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel is an engineering masterpiece. It is a roughly 17.5-mile span from shore to shore, with two one-mile long tunnels that seemingly dive into the middle of the Bay. It connects mainland Virginia with the Virginia Eastern Shore, a penninsula with the Bay on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. And it connects two very different economies that are just miles away but may as well be worlds away.
